Terms of use
The rules of the road: what this content is, how you may use it, and which state's courts settle arguments about it.
Last reviewed and updated: July 12, 2026
1. The agreement
These terms govern your use of travelinggoosephotography.com (“the site”), published by Traveling Goose Photography LLC, a registered New Mexico Limited Liability Company (LLC) (New Mexico Secretary of State Reg. No. 6248317), of 2921 Central Ave NE, Suite 108, Albuquerque, NM 87106 (“we,” “us”). Using the site means you accept them; if you do not, please close the tab. When the terms change, the revised version is posted here with a new date, and continued use after that counts as acceptance.
2. What the site is — and is not
The site is an editorial publication: essays about the craft of travel photography. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking service, ticket seller, photography school, or marketplace, and nothing on it is an offer to sell any product or service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any airline, airport, booking platform, or equipment manufacturer, and as an editorial rule we do not name such companies at all.
3. Essays are general information
Everything published here reflects the author's experience and the public sources listed with each essay, accurate to the best of our knowledge on the publication date. Conditions change: security rules are rewritten, refuge hours shift, weather does what it wants. Before you act on anything read here — especially anything touching security screening, battery regulations, wildlife-area access, or travel timing — confirm the current facts with the relevant official source. Your decisions in the field, and their consequences, are yours.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the site — essays, illustrations, page design, and the Traveling Goose Photography name and goose mark — belongs to Traveling Goose Photography LLC and is protected by copyright and related laws. You are welcome to read, link, quote briefly with attribution, and share links anywhere. You may not republish essays or illustrations in full, scrape the site for content or model-training data, or pass our work off as yours, without written permission requested through the contact page.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attack the site, probe or breach its security, hammer it with automated bulk requests, or use the contact form to send anything unlawful, defamatory, or malicious — including spam. Access may be restricted to protect the site and its readers.
6. Third-party resources
Essays reference public resources — aviation authorities, wildlife agencies, weather services — as plain-text source notes. Those organizations do not endorse this journal, and their sites and policies are their own.
7. Advertising
Clearly-labeled third-party advertising may appear, separated from editorial content as described in the advertising disclosure. An ad's presence is not our endorsement of what it advertises; responsibility for ad content sits with the advertiser.
8. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, neither Traveling Goose Photography LLC nor its owner is liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content — including missed flights, confiscated batteries, ruined shoots, or costs incurred acting on an essay. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Traveling Goose Photography LLC against claims arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the site, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from the terms or the site belong exclusively to the state and federal courts sitting in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, and both parties consent to that venue.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected], or by post to Traveling Goose Photography LLC, 2921 Central Ave NE, Suite 108, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
